Common questions.

Do you replace the existing utility meter?

No. Sub-metering sits downstream of the main connection and measures unit-level usage. Your existing utility metering and retailer arrangements stay as they are.

How disruptive is a retrofit installation?

Both retrofit routes use split-core CTs, which clamp around existing cables and avoid rewiring main circuits. Installation is scheduled around the site, and the LoRaWAN option removes the need for long data-cable runs entirely.

What happens when a meter goes offline?

The platform raises an alert for the specific device, tied to its unit number, so the issue is visible within the day — not discovered weeks later at reconciliation.

Can we export data for billing and reconciliation?

Yes. Tenant-level usage data can be exported to feed your billing and reconciliation process, replacing manual reads and re-entry.

Where is our data hosted, and who can see it?

Data is held in a protected cloud environment, encrypted in transit, with role-based access for your operating team. Guidance on metering compliance is in progress ahead of commercial deployment.
